Dr. Brown is a sports medicine physician with expertise in the comprehensive care of athletes and active individuals. He is the Director of Primary Care Sports Medicine at the Connecticut Sports Medicine Institute at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. His practice includes the non-operative care of orthopedic injuries, and the treatment of sport-related medical conditions, including sports concussion and illnesses that affect sports participation.

He completed medical school at Brown University, his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Rochester, and his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Connecticut.

He is the Assistant Fellowship Director of the University of Connecticut Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship.

He has been a team physician at all levels of athletics, including at the professional, collegiate, high school, and recreational levels. He enjoys helping athletes both in the community and online. His current team affiliations are listed below:
