Amanda Fantry, M.D. earned a BS in biochemistry and philosophy at Boston College and a medical degree from New York Medical College. She attended surgical internship and orthopedic residency at Brown University and is dual fellowship trained in trauma (Brown University) and foot and ankle surgery (Baylor University, Dallas, Texas).

Her clinical interests are acute and chronic foot and ankle injuries, trauma, ankle instability, Achilles tendon pathology, and tendon disorders. She has published several clinical articles on disorders of the foot and ankle.

She continues to be active in the athletic community, playing basketball, volleyball, and skiing.
